Paddle Chula Vista
Chula Vista Water Sports is a locally owned rental and tour outfitter at Bayside Park, right on the Chula Vista bayfront. We keep it simple and affordable: grab a kayak or paddleboard, take a beginner-friendly lesson, or join a guide to explore wetlands and shoreline you can only reach by water.
Owner Michael Jimenez was born and raised here and started the business to bring the community activities it didn’t have — and to help take care of the bay, with regular kayak cleanups and environmental education.

“I highly recommend Chula Vista Water Sports. First time kayaking in the marina. Mike was a great tour guide with knowledge on the native plants and birds.”
“Mike was great! The Eco Tour was fun and my whole family enjoyed it, kids too! Not too hard of a kayak tour, we can’t wait to come back to try paddle boards”
“This was a fun, and relaxing activity. The instructor did give a quick but effective beginners lesson in how to kayak and I was able to do it successfully there on after.”
