Founded and operated by locals who grew up in Chula Vista, we believe the San Diego Bay should be welcoming and accessible to all.
Our story
More than a place to rent a kayak.
We’re proud to offer affordable opportunities for kayaking, paddle boarding, eco-tours, camps and rentals along our beautiful bayfront. Our programs are designed for all ages and skill levels — from first-time paddlers to seasoned explorers.
We specialize in youth camps, after-school programs, community partnerships and hands-on environmental education that helps people connect with the unique ecosystems of the South Bay. With a strong commitment to community, education and sustainability, Chula Vista Water Sports is a movement to reconnect our city with the water that surrounds it.

“I highly recommend this place for your fun water activities! So good to know that in your local neighborhood you can go kayaking or paddle boarding by making an easy reservation online. Michael, was very friendly and helpful. Our experience was wonderful! We had to reschedule the first time due to a cloudy day and the current wasn't good (definitely better to go on a sunny day and be safe!)
